Our summer intensive offers serious dance students extraordinary opportunities to train, rehearse, and perform alongside the professional dancers of Carolina Ballet. Leading dancers from the company will be teaching and rehearsing during the five weeks of the program and dancing in the final performances.

UNCSA Summer Dance. UNCSA Summer Dance is comprised of four Intensives, two Professional Development programs and one Choreographic Residency, providing gifted emerging artists with the experience, knowledge, and skills needed to excel in their disciplines and in their lives.

The Classical Ballet Intensive is a cross-disciplinary program, but focuses on the very particular demands of the Ballet profession. Summer Intensive students will be considered for CBA's year-long Pre-Professional Division and Colorado Ballet Studio Company. Physical therapy is available to students from Colorado Ballet’s in-house providers. Suite-style housing is available on the beautiful University of Denver campus. Is living on campus at Saint Mary’s School required? No. Is there a scholarship or financial aid? Yes. Scholarships are determined at the time of audition and are awarded by merit.
